Last updated: March 2026. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Driving.Cy website, applications, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and you accept that we disclaim all responsibility and liability; your use is entirely at your own risk. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You also confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms in their entirety.

2. Nature of the Service; Informational and Educational Purpose Only

The Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is intended to help users familiarise themselves with road signs, traffic rules, and driving theory concepts, including in the context of Cyprus. The content on the Service (including but not limited to text, images, quizzes, and guides) is for reference only and does not constitute official legal, regulatory, or governmental advice. It is not a substitute for official study materials, driving school instruction, or the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Cyprus or any other jurisdiction. Official rules, signs, and requirements may change; you are solely responsible for verifying current requirements with the relevant authorities (e.g. Road Transport Department, driving schools, or official sources).

3. No Warranty; "As Is" and "As Available"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATORS, OWNERS, AUTHORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS OF THE SERVICE (COLLECTIVELY, "WE" OR "US") DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND COMPLETENESS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, UP TO DATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR JURISDICTION OR PURPOSE.

4. Exclusion and Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXCLUDE ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER (WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR OTHERWISE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE, YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN CONTENT, FAILURE TO PASS ANY EXAM OR TEST, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, FINES, PENALTIES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS—WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY—EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WHERE THE LAW OF YOUR JURISDICTION DOES NOT PERMIT FULL EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY THAT LAW AND IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100), WHICHEVER IS LESS. WE ARE NOT OBLIGED TO PAY YOU ANY COMPENSATION, DAMAGES, REFUNDS, OR OTHER AMOUNTS EXCEPT AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY MANDATORY LAW. YOU USE THE SERVICE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, ANY DECISIONS OR ACTIONS TAKEN ON THE BASIS OF THE SERVICE (INCLUDING DRIVING, TAKING EXAMS, OR COMPLYING WITH TRAFFIC LAWS), AND ANY CONSEQUENCES THEREOF RESTS SOLELY WITH YOU; WE BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY.

4A. Indemnification

YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS US (AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES) FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, DAMAGES, COSTS, AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING REASONABLE LEGAL FEES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, YOUR VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS, YOUR VIOLATION OF ANY LAW OR THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS, OR ANY CLAIM THAT YOUR CONDUCT OR USE OF THE SERVICE CAUSED HARM TO A THIRD PARTY. THIS INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATION SURVIVES TERMINATION OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

5. No Duty of Care; No Professional or Official Relationship

Nothing in the Service or these Terms creates any professional, advisory, fiduciary, or official relationship between you and us. We owe you no duty of care. We are not your driving instructor, examiner, lawyer, or government body. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in passing any test or meeting any official requirement. You are solely responsible for obtaining official information and for the consequences of any reliance on the Service.

6. User Conduct and Responsibility

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for your conduct and for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws. You must not use the Service to distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, or otherwise harm the Service or third parties. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities under your account.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content (including design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law (e.g. fair use). Trademarks and names used on the Service may be the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the content, privacy practices, availability, or conduct of third-party sites or services. Your use of third-party services is entirely at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies. We disclaim all liability for any loss or damage arising from your interaction with third parties.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice or any liability to you. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We have no obligation to notify you of changes except where required by law. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
