Road markings

Single continuous lines - used to prevent overtaking and to separate opposite traffic direction.

Double continuous lines - used to prevent overtaking and to separate opposite traffic directions

Single white line rules applies to left but overtaking allowed from right

Lane dividers: overtaking is allowed

Zigzag lines: No parking, waiting or overtaking

White side line - depicts the side of the carriageway, no parking

Broken side line - Indicates other entrances or exits on the left side of the road

Yellow side line - do not park or use the road beyond the line

Double continuous yellow line - No stop - No parking
